Mr. Kenneth Dale Stanfield

Mr. Kenneth Dale Stanfield, age 58 of Trion, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Floyd Medical Center. Mr. Stanfield was born in Alabama on April 25, 1959, son of the late Louis Stanfield and Marion Dutton Stanfield. He was employed as a Doffer at Mt. Vernon Mills, loved to Fish, work on old cars, watch wrestling and enjoyed watching football. In addition to his parents, Mr. Stanfield was preceded in death by sisters, Martha Ann White, Emily Ruth Siffles, Virginia Bullard, Judy Garmany and Patsy Hulsey; and brothers, Dub Stanfield, David Stanfield and Billy Joe Stanfield. Mr. Stanfield is survived by his longtime companion, Doretha Johnson Brady; a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Wayne Sims, Jr. and his wife Kim; daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Robert Winters, Jamie Stanfield, Diane and George Covington and LuAnn Brady; brother, Jimmy Stanfield; grandchildren, DJ Turner, Levi Stanfield, BJ Winters, Breanna Robinson, Xander Covington, Hunter Moss, Adan Moss, CJ Colbert, Hannah Colbert, River Templeton, Taylor Cronier and Cheyenne Sims; former father-in-law, Thomas Miller; special friend, Dale Woody and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Stanfield will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Norton, Rev. Rickey Biddle and Rev. Matthew Evans officiating. Interment Services will be private. Mr. Stanfield will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 3:00 P.M. until the funeral hour. The family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to help defray the cost of final expenses.
