Larry Allen Stoker

Mr. Larry Allen Stoker, age 70, of the Spring Creek Community, Trion, Georgia, passed away on September 14, 2026, in a Rome hospital.

Born on June 5, 1956, in Lafayette, Georgia, Larry was the son of the late Amos Lee Stoker and Jo Ann White Stoker. A devoted member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church, he actively participated in its ministry. Larry dedicated 47 years to Mt. Vernon Mills at the Central Garage. He was also a proud member of Trion Masonic Lodge #160 F&AM. An avid outdoorsman, Larry loved deer hunting and fishing but cherished time spent with family and friends above all.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his son Jason Stoker, and his sister, Vickie Rena Stoker Davis.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Johnnie Stoker; his son, Cody Stoker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Charles Ratledge, Tammy and Elliot Norton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Amos Lee Stoker, Jr., Greg and Sherry Stoker, and Mark and Debbie Stoker. He leaves behind three grandchildren, Gage Stoker, Addison Wilson, and Hayleigh Cochran; three great-grandchildren, Salem Stoker, Sebastian Howard, and Declan Stoker; alongside numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family.

Private graveside services will be held at Pettyjohn Cemetery with Pastor Terry Shores officiating. Pallbearers will include Cody Stoker, Greg Stoker, Lee Stoker, Mark Stoker, Gage Stoker, and J.R. Brown. As per Larry’s wishes, there will be no visitation.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Welcome Hill Baptist Church, 107 Welcome Hill Rd, Trion, GA 30753.
