Mr. Lewis Wright Barker

Mr. Lewis Wright Barker, age 60 of Plainville, Georgia passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Barker was born in Calhoun, Georgia on May 22, 1947, son of Marion Edith Bailey Barker and the late William Grady Barker. He was employed as a mechanic with Maintenance Building Center. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Toby Barker. Mr. Barker is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Barker, Cindy Barker and Ranessa White; brothers, James Barker and Ronnie Ledale Barker; sisters, Joyce Weatherby, Judy (Neal) Fowler, Deborah Hawsey and Linda (Harrison) McDurmon; grandchildren, Jessica Justice, Dakota Barker, Michelle Simpson, Sebastian Barker, Nikki Barker, Wayne Barker, Savannah Watson, Kelsey White, Thomas White and Abbie Wells; 7 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Barker will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 12:00 Noon in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Jackson Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Lindale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Barker, Ronnie Barker, Jim Fowler, Tony Dutton, Sebastian Barker and Thomas White. Mr. Barker will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Saturday morning from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
