Mrs. Linda Faye Abernathy

Mrs. Linda Faye Abernathy, age 77 of Dalton, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Abernathy was born in Dalton, Georgia on October 28, 1943, daughter of the late Pete and Avaleen Brock Glass.  She was a long time employee of the CREMO Drive-In in Dalton.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Abernathy was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Abernathy and a son, Robert “Bobby” Firsdon.

Mrs. Abernathy is survived by her sons, Kevin (Mary) Firsdon and Kent Firsdon of Summerville; daughter, Patricia Godfrey of Dalton; grandchildren, Heather and Carlos Rodriguez, Mandy and Kendall Jackson, Katee Godfrey, Kayla and Meshana Firsdon, Derek Firsdon and Whitney Davis; great grandchildren, Lorena, Jessie and Christian Casas, Aiden and Brinley Jackson, Victoria Rodriguez, and Wyatt and Landreigh Seigler; and a special nephew and niece, Chris and Nancy Jordan.

In accordance with Mrs. Abernathy’s wishes, she will be cremated and memorial service will be held at a later date.
