Ms. Linda Carol Cochran

Mrs. Linda Carol Cochran, age 76 of Rome, GA formerly of Trion, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Floyd Medical Center. Ms. Cochran was born in Trion, GA on April 9, 1941, daughter of the late Eugene William Cochran, Sr. and Frances Kellett Cochran. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rome and was a retired elementary school teacher, having taught at Trion Elementary, Alto Park and Midway Elementary Schools in the Floyd County School System. In addition to her parents, Ms. Cochran was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Joann Cochran. Ms. Cochran is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Carol Marie Cochran of Tijeras, New Mexico; niece Loretta Frances Sponsler and nephew, Seth Leroi Cochran; and 6 great nieces and nephews. Private Memorial Graveside and Interment Services were held by the family at West Hill Cemetery in Trion, Georgia.
