Mrs. Linda Faye (Hunter) Henderson

Mrs. Linda Faye Henderson, age 74 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at a Rome area hospital.

Mrs. Henderson was born in Summerville, Georgia on May 16, 1948, daughter of the late Horace Hunter and Grace Hicks Hunter.  She was a member of the Pennville Church of Christ and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed painting and was a really good cook.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by a brother, David Hunter.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by her husband, Sid Henderson; children, Terry Hampton, Marty Hampton, Rodney Henderson, Nathan Henderson, Russell Henderson, Rita Brooks-Sussman, Beverly Simpson, Kim Hurley, Kelly Yarbrough, Cindy Simpson and Tina Maynard; brothers, Charles Hunter and Larry Hunter; numerous grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mrs. Henderson’s wishes, she will be cremated and there are no plans for a memorial service at this time.
