Linda L. Sawyer

Mrs. Linda L. Sawyer, age 67 of LaFayette, GA passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Sawyer was born July 26, 1947 in Trenton, NJ. She was retired as a Correctional Officer at Hays State Prison. Mrs. Sawyer was a member of the Hiawassee United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Sawyer was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Dorothy Parr Manship.

Mrs. Sawyer is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Anne Livesay; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Joe Cook; grandson, Joseph Livesay; aunts, Mary Jane Harris and Joan Hanna; uncle, Arlie Manship; nieces, Laura Cullen and Lucy Sosebee; great-niece, Amelia Sosebee.

Memorial services for Mrs. Linda L. Sawyer will be Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Petitt Chapel of Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Skip Mitchell officiating.

The family ask that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Trion Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice.
