Linda Jeanette (Wilkerson) Wilson

Mrs. Linda Jeanette Wilson, age 81 of Trion, Georgia passed away Monday, July 15, 2024 at a Rome hospital.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Trion, Georgia on December 15, 1942, daughter of the late Jessie Eugene Wilkerson and Lillie Mae Simpson Wilkerson.  She was a member of the Trion Heights Baptist Church, and was retired from Wometco/Restaurant Enterprises.  She enjoyed working Crossword puzzles and Jigsaw Puzzles and watching Christmas movies. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse T. Wilson, Sr., and a sister, Lillie Loretta Dover.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Kelly Wilson; daughters and son-in-law, Vickey and Vernon Johnson, Julie Barber and Lisa Wilson(Calvin Clark); grandchildren, Samual Wilson, Emily (Conner) Nichols, Andrew (Kendra) Johnson, Melissa Johnson, Baylee Barber and Lynzi Barber; great grandchildren, Hudson Nichols, Lily Nichols, Jax Johnson, Tate Johnson and Larken Johnson; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family of Mrs. Wilson will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 until 2:30 P.M.

A private graveside will be held in the West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Vernon Johnson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Samual Wilson, Andrew Johnson, Emily Nichols, Melissa Johnson, Calvin Clark and Larry Wilson.
