Mr. Lonnie Wayne Boggs

Mr. Lonnie Wayne Boggs, age 61 of Calhoun, formerly of Chattooga County, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Boggs was born in Seminole County, Georgia on September 5, 1960, son of the late Edna Cleghorn Edenfield.  He was a retired Volunteer Firefighter and was also employed with Mt. Vernon Mills.  In addition to his mother, Mr. Boggs was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Carey and a great grandson, Braxton Colt Thompson.

Mr. Boggs is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Sebrina and William Thompson and Selinia and Charles Daggett; son, Dakota Boggs; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Tim Eller; grandchildren, William Thompson, Jr., Dalton Thompson and Jonathon Thompson; a great grandchild, Keegan Thompson, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mr. Bogg’s wishes, he will be cremated and the family may have a memorial gathering at a later date.\
