Lora Mae Hill

Miss Lora Mae Hill, age 75 of the Pennville Community, Summerville, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Miss Hill was born in Trion, Georgia on January 2, 1949, daughter of the late Olin Roscoe Hill and Julie Mae Barnett Townsend.  She attended the Living Waters Ministries and was retired from Best Manufacturing and WireTech.  She enjoyed going to Trade Day and spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents, Miss Hill was preceded in death by her longtime companion, T.C. Land and a brother, Charles Brooks.

Miss Hill is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Billy Ray Hill and Randy and Lynn Hill; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Craig and Shirley and Darwin Blansit; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Susan Hill; grandchildren, Abby Hill and Aiden Hill; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Miss Hill will be held Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Wright officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Edward Craig, Stephen Craig, Timothy Craig, Adam Cochran, Jeff Blansit and Prayten Perry.

Miss Hill’s family will receive friends at Coffman Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
