Mrs. Luanne Kay Morrison

Luanne Kay Morrison, 67, died Saturday at her home in Cloudland after a brief illness. A native of Franklin, Pennsylvania, she was born to the late Joseph and Twila Seigworth Desko. She was a graduate of the Wheeler School of Business in Pittsburgh, where she studied fashion merchandising. Prior to her retirement and relocation to Cloudland from Fort Myers, FL, her career had included resort property management, commercial insurance sales and support, and private investigation services. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed traveling, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Surviving are her husband, Larry Morrison, of Cloudland; daughter, Jill Jones, and son Jason Jones and his wife Shelley of Grayson, GA; stepdaughter Julie and husband Adam Noble of Lehigh Acres, FL; a sister, Alene Archer, of Tempe, AZ; granddaughters Jenna Jones and Sophia Jones and grandson Joseph Jones of Grayson; step-grandsons Drake Wilt of Huntingdon Beach, CA, and Cody Noble of Lehigh Acres; a niece and nephew, three grand-nieces and one grand-nephew. Her parents and stepdaughter Melissa Morrison preceded her in death. Arrangements are being made for a Memorial service to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 26, at The Lodge at Cloudland, 457 S. Brow Drive, with the Rev. Roger Kvam officiating.
