Mrs. Marcella June Reynolds

Mrs. Marcella June Reynolds, age 81 of Lyerly, Georgia passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.

June was born in Cartersville, Georgia on March 27, 1940, daughter of the late Rev. A.N. White and Linda Beets White.  She was a member of the Four Mile Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class, and was retired from Best Manufacturing.  June was a member of the Best Silver Club and the GA Mountain Music Club.  She enjoyed reading and riding with her husband on the side by side all over Lyerly and the surrounding areas.  In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Lynn “Kay” Tallent; grandson, Daniel Tyler Reynolds; sister, Aileen Ziepfel and a brother, William Ray White.

June is survived by her husband, Cecil M. Reynolds; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Zeta Reynolds; sisters, Hazel Roach and Shirley Wrape; brothers and sisters-in-law, J.C. and Sheila White and Larry Joe White; God-daughter, Karen (Jamey) Coffman; grandchildren, Chris Tallent, Courtney Tallent, Treyton Coffman and Barrett Coffman; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for June will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Smith and Rev. Doyle Kelley officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lyerly Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Reynolds, Larry Reynolds, David Reynolds, Justin Lee, Steve Cupp and Andrew Daniel.  Honorary Pallbearers will be the Adult Sunday School Class of Four Mile Baptist Church, the GA Mountain Music Club and members of the Lyerly Gospel Pickers.

June will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
