Margie Ruth Henderson

Mrs. Margie Ruth Henderson, age 98 of Tinney Road, Trion, GA passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 in Redmond Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Henderson was born in Halls Valley, Chattooga County, GA on November 18, 1914.  She was retired from Summerville Manufacturing and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ. Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by husband, Wiley Thomas Henderson, Sr.; father and mother, W. T. Westbrook and Cora Hall Westbrook; sister, Nevada Hollis; brothers, Paul Westbrook, Roy Westbrook, Felton Westbrook, Henry Westbrook, and Roland Westbrook. Mrs. Henderson is survived by son, Wiley Thomas Henderson, Jr.; granddaughter, Christie Lynn Turner of North Carolina and grandson, Steve Salerno of Jacksonville, FL; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Neva Hawkins; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home with Minister Hugh Glaze officiating.  Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Margie Ruth Henderson will be Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.. Pallbearers will be the Elders and Deacons of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Benny Sprayberry and William Campbell.  These gentlemen are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
