Mrs. Marion Kay Boyd

Mrs. Marion Kay Boyd, age 53, of Trion, Georgia passed away Friday, May 13, 2016. Mrs. Boyd was born in Trion, Georgia on November 16, 1962, daughter of Doris Irene Gentry Bryan and the late Marion Curtis "M.C." Boyd. She was a wonderful mom, great friend and loving grandmother. Mrs. Boyd had been employed with Mt. Vernon Mills prior to failing health. In addition to her father, Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by a sister, Vickey Brinkley; her maternal grandparents and her paternal grandparents. Mrs. Boyd is survived by her children, Samuel Jacob Blackmon, and Stephanie Kay Siffles and her husband, Cody; mother, Doris Bryan; brothers and sister-in-law, Greg Espy, Steve and Bonnie Boyd and Kenny Boyd; sisters and brothers-in-law, Retha and Johnny Blackmon, Rita and Bobby Ledbetter and Sherri and Greg Stoker; 2 grandchildren, Shyanne Jones and Roman Lamar Siffles; and special friends, Kenneth Moses and Johnny Greene. Funeral Services for Mrs. Boyd will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Hollis Siffles, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Alpine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cody Siffles, Hayden Stoker, Marty Smith, Daniel Gentry, Bobby Phil Totherow, Jerry Daring, Jabo Burrage and Matthew Cordle. Mrs. Boyd will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M.
