Mrs. Martha Joan Meadows

Mrs. Martha Joan Meadows, age 71 of Trion, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Meadows was born in Trion, Georgia on May 20, 1950, daughter of the late Robert Foy Blackmon and Mary Lena Campbell Blackmon.  She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.  She enjoyed coloring and drawing.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Meadows was preceded in death by a son, Andy Campbell; a daughter, Karen Chadwick; sister, Linda Stoner and brothers, Steve Blackmon and Sammy Blackmon.

Mrs. Meadows is survived by grandchildren, Andrea Carter, Drew and Brittany Campbell, Autumn Campbell, Haven Campbell and Dylan Atkins; great grandchildren, Karleigh Carter, Kalie Carter, Josslynn Harris and Jaylynn Harris; and a number  of additional grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mrs. Meadows’ wishes, she will be cremated and the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
