Maxine Morgan

Mrs. Maxine Morgan, age 65 of Saratoga Way, Summerville, GA passed away December 26, 2011 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Morgan was born October 23, 1946 in Trion, GA.  She was retired from Mohawk Industries and was a member of the New Generation Church of God. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by husband, Johnny Morgan; father and mother, Albert Riley and Fannie Mae Posey Riley; and sister, Patsy Weevie. Survivors are son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Tonya Smith of Summerville, GA; brother-in-law, Ivan Weevie of Summerville, GA; sisters-in-law, Teresa McClain and Becky King of Florida; grandson, Jacob Riley Smith and granddaughter, Haley Brianna Smith of Summerville, GA; great-granddaughter, Melody Rain Smith of Summerville, GA; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.from the chapel of the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Harkins officiating.  Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.Pallbearers will be Randy Weevie, Billy Price, Terry McWhorter, Lamar Deberry, Alex Deberry, and Robert Hanson.  Honorary Pallbearers will be residents of Saratoga Apartments .Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
