Mr. Mckinley "Mac" Massey

Mr. McKinley "Mac" Massey, age 66 of Trion, Georgia passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Massey was born in Lafayette, Georgia on March 27, 1953, son of the late James Roy “Jim” Massey and Bonnie Lowrance Massey. He was a member of the Waterville Baptist Church, and was retired from the construction industry. Mr. Massey loved to Garden, Can, ride motorcycles, tend to his goats and chickens and working in construction. In addition to his parents, Mr. Massey was preceded in death by brothers, Nicholas Lee Massey and James Douglas Massey.

Mr. Massey is survived by his wife, Sheila Marie Brown Massey; daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa Brown, Bridgette and Justin Shaw and Autumn and Justin Adams; son, Shawn Massey; brother-in-law, Dean Brown; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Massey will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Pettit Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Hall’s Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Long, Taylor Long, Brian Southerland, Michael Tinney, Dwight Tinney, Gary Jewel, Randy Hall and Hoyt Ballenger. Honorary and Alternate Pallbearers will be Keith Thomas, Tim Sanders, Randall Henry and Larry Johnson.

Mr. Massey will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour. Coffman Funeral Home, Pettit Chapel is honored to be serving the family of
