Melinda "Sissy" Sueanne (Justice) Sparks

M rs. Melinda Sueanne "Sissy" Sparks, age 53 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Sparks was born in Scottsboro, Alabama on August 5, 1970, daughter of Imogene Ruth “Jean” Clardy Baker and the late Harold Willard Justice.  She had been employed with Purdue and was of the Baptist Faith.  She enjoyed embroidering, coloring and doing all kinds of crafts.  In addition to her father, Mrs. Sparks was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Justice.

Mrs. Sparks is survived by her husband, John Sparks; son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Brandie Lewis; daughter and son-in-law, Brooke and John Johnson; mother and step-father, Jean and Earl Baker; sister and brother-in-law, Shannon and David Hass; 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and additional family members.

A celebration of Melinda’s Life will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the residence of her mother, 582 Sardis Church Road, Lyerly, GA.
