Mickey Louis Parrott

Mr. Mickey Louis Parrott, age 61 of Maplewood Drive, Summerville, GA passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Redmond Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Parrott was born December 9, 1949 in Atlanta, GA.  He was retired from Maintenance Airport of Fulton County, was Baptist by faith, and was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Parrott was preceded in death by his father and mother, Louis Parrott and Betty Dean Parrott. Mr. Parrott is survived by wife, Carolyn Young Parrott of Summerville, GA; son, Charles D. Owens of Summerville, GA and daughter, Sondra Leidesdorff of Baltimore, Maryland; aunt, Mary Ann Griswell of Lilburn, GA; cousins, Linda Dean of Atlanta, GA, Chris Dean of McDonough, GA; uncle, James Dean of Lilburn, GA; sister-in-law, Pamela Peacock of Detroit, Michigan; nephew, Joseph Henry Young of Trion, GA; grandchildren, Sophie and Dent Leidesdorff; several nieces and nephews. Graveside and Interment services will be Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.from the West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be Charles Owens, Dale Rhoden, David Marks, Wayne Green, Chris Hardin, and Keith Roulane. There will be no visitation.
