Mrs. Mildred Louise Adams

Mrs. Mildred Louise Adams, age 86 of Trion, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Adams was born in Dawsonville, Georgia on April 11, 1934, daughter of the late Bill Bailey and Dora Louise Tate Bailey.  She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Riley Joel Adams; sister, Eunice Sosebee; two brothers, Lane Bailey and Bud Bailey; and a son-in-law, Donald McCord.

Mrs. Adams is survived by 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Darrell Greene, Sherry and Lonnie Peters and Jean McCord; sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Ed Lipscomb; grandchildren, Teresa Bishop, Crystal Brady, Misty McCullough, Starr Peters, Jeremy McCord and Shane McCord; 11 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside and Interment Services for Mrs. Adams will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 1:30 P.M. in the Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Andy Coker officiating.

Pallbearers will be Josh McCullough, Brent Brady, Tyler Bishop, Dexter Mitchell, Rusty Brown and Logan McCullough.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Adams’ friends and neighbors at the Gold Leaf Apartments.

Mrs. Adams will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.

The family of Mrs. Adams, as well as the staff of Coffman Funeral Home, advise anyone that plans to attend the services, to please follow the CDC recommendations as it pertains to Social distancing and social gatherings.  Facemasks are not required, but are recommended.
