Mrs. Mildred Beatrice Seymore

Mrs. Mildred Beatrice Seymore, age 94 of Lyerly, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Seymore was born in Lyerly, Georgia on December 20, 1923, daughter of the late Alex L. Reynolds and Mary Bachhafer Reynolds. She was a member of the South Summerville Baptist Church and prior to retirement, was self employed as a bookkeeper and also helped her husband, Claude run the Seymore Service Station. Mrs. Seymore was preceded in death by her husband, Claude H. Seymore; a brother, Gordon Reynolds; and sisters, Inez Clark, Frances Stiles, Jo Ward, Hattie Bryant, Nell Sparks and Carrie “Jay” Harrison. Mrs. Seymore is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Terri Seymore; grandchildren, Evan Seymore, Melinda Carder and Brandon Seymore; great grandchildren, Katelynn Carder, Kristen Carder, Tucker Seymore and Dawson Seymore; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside and Interment services will be held Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Green Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Evan Seymore, Brandon Seymore, Allen McCollum and Justin Carder. Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard White, Danny Edwards, Jeffery Willingham and Steve Seymore.
