Miss Wanda Lee Tapp

Miss Wanda Lee Tapp, age 64 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at her residence, following and extended illness.

Wanda was born in Lafayette, Georgia on August 8, 1956, daughter of the late John Thomas Tapp and Lula Mae Reynolds Tapp.  She attended the Academy of the Blind in Macon, Georgia, and she loved spoiling children.  Wanda was preceded in death by her siblings, Leroy Tapp, Willie B. Tapp, Sam Tapp, Thomas Tapp, Eddie Lee Tapp, John David Tapp, Love O'Neal " Bill" Tapp, Alice Chapman and Carol Craig.

Wanda is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Donnie Brooks and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Wanda will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Wright and Rev. Ray Caldwell officiating.  Interment will follow in the Fairview South Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Dover, Tony Dover, Terry Miller, Billy Tapp, Dewayne Asher, Johnny Brooks, Matt Davis and John Seiber.  Honorary Pallbearers will be the staff of Homestead Hospice of Dalton.

Wanda will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
