Miss Jean Marie Floyd

Miss Jean Marie Floyd, age 60 of Metter, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

Miss Floyd was born in Dearborn, Michigan on November 6, 1960, daughter of the late Harold Hankey and Betty Sue Floyd.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Louie Ellis and a nephew, Joseph Ellis.

Miss Floyd is survived by a brother, Kenneth Jones; sisters, Cathy Vinyard and Michelle Rogers; sister-in-law, Joyce Eley; nieces, Holly Gurley, Amy Jones and Sarah Jones; and nephews, Brad Ellis, David Lee Tapp and Brandon Gurley.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, Miss Floyd will be cremated and there are no plans at this time for a memorial service.
