Nancy Evelyn Thomas

Mrs Nancy Evelyn Thomas, age 72 of Trion Highway, Trion, GA passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at her residence.  Mrs. Thomas was born March 14, 1940 in Trion, GA.  She was retired from Wal-Mart and was a member of the Trion United Methodist Church. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by a son, Wallace F. Thomas III; grandson, Michael Shane Hampton; father and mother, Fred and Evelyn Grogan Lancaster; and brother, Ronnie Lancaster. Mrs. Thomas is survived by husband, Wallace Thomas, Jr.; daughters, Sherri Hampton & Wendy Ash of Trion, GA; sons & daughters-in-law, Barry Keith & Lauranell Thomas of Atlanta, GA, Frankie & Terri Thomas of Trion, GA; grandchildren, Barry Keith Thomas, Jr., Cassandra & George Moody, Autumn Thomas, Levi Thomas, Dameon Ingram, Stephanie Shirley, Tristan Ash, Cadin Ash, and Jessie Ash; great-granddaughter, Kara Watkins; several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home with Minister Robbie Eversole officiating.  Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tim Trammell, Scott Crowe, Barry Keith Thomas, Jr., Dameon Ingram, Jeff Trammell, & Barry Keith Thomas.
