Mrs. Opal Mae Sprayberry

Mrs. Opal Mae Sprayberry, age 85, of Trion, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Sprayberry was born on September 6, 1928 in Rome, Georgia. She was a member of the Trion First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class. Mrs. Sprayberry was an avid gardener and love to collect Tea Pots. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Jones Sprayberry. Mrs. Sprayberry is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Rachael Sprayberry of Midlothian, VA and Ricky and Carolyn Sprayberry of Trion; Sisters-in-law, Margarette Hall of Cedar Bluff and Esther Stephens of Centre, AL; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Tommy) Michaelides and Michael Sprayberry; two great grandchildren, Andreas Michaelides and Alexander Michaelides; and a number nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services for Mrs. Sprayberry will be held Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. David Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Sprayberry, Scott Thomas, Terry Hall, Randy Floyd, Tim Collette and John Collette. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Lydia Sunday School Class of Trion First Baptist Church, Life Choice Hospice, Lafayette and Betty and Julian Williams. Mrs. Sprayberry will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. Coffman Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Opal Mae Sprayberry.
