Pamela Christine (Carnes) Foster

Mrs. Pamela Christine Carnes Foster, age 55 of Summerville, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Foster was born in Rome, Georgia on September 2, 1968, daughter of the late Bobby Carnes and Kathryn Parker Clark.  She was an avid crafter, enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Mrs. Foster was a natural caregiver, helping anyone that needed her assistance.  She was a retired truck driver, having worked for Shaw Industries and Hogan Trucking and was a member of the Subligna Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Clark.

Mrs. Foster is survived by her husband, Richard Foster; sons, Ryan Brown and Stanley Pruitt; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Jessica Carnes and Joey and Amanda Carnes; sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and Eric Brown; step-mother, Debbie Carnes; Step-father, Jim Clark; 4 grandchildren, Katie Brown, Hayden Pruitt, Zayden Pruitt and Brandon Pruitt; special cousins, Tonya Morrow, Kim Sims and Lisa Moses; and a number of nieces, nephews and additional family members.

In accordance with Mrs. Foster’s wishes, she will be cremated and the family will have a private memorial service in the coming weeks.
