Paul Nathaniel Dyer

Mr. Paul Nathaniel Dyer, age 92 of Evans, GA formerly of Trion, GA passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015  Mr. Dyer was born August 3, 1922 in Chattooga County, GA.  Mr. Dyer was a member of The Church of God Northside.  From an early age he was involved in his local church with music and in later years was appointed Deacon.  The older he got the sweeter he got and was loved by all who cared for him.  Mr. Dyer was retired from G. E. Corporation as a welder and was a Veterans of the United States Navy Mr. Dyer was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Dyer; parents, Robert E. Lee and Harriett Amanda Stiles Dyer; brothers, Robert Eugene "Gene" Dyer and Marion B. Dyer. Mr. Dyer is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Stephen N. and Kathy Dyer; sister and brother-in-law, June and John W. Drennan; grandchildren, Amber Flynn, Andrew and Leigh Dyer, and Stephenie and Kevin Mixon; 4 great-grandchildren, Katie, Caleb, Brent and Ava Dyer; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 22, 2015 at The Church of God Northside, Trion, GA at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Rich Bowen, Pastor Charles Dietz and Rev. Chris Clarkson officiating.  Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Paul Nathan Dyer will be Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers, Andy Dyer, Kevin Mixon, Johnny Drennan, Stacy Hampton, Robbie Dalton and Chris Dalton.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kerry Dyer and Dennis Dyer.
