Phillip Andrew Hite

Mr. Phillip Andrew Hite, age 59, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Hite was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 13, 1956 , son of Patricia June Howell Hite and the late Bobby Jack Hite. Phillip was a well liked person that was a friend to all and always enjoyed helping other people. He was employed as a tile contractor, and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his father, Mr. Hite was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne L. Hite. Mr. Hite is survived by his daughters, Dondee Hite and Hope Hite Frazier; mother, Pat Hite; sisters, Wanda Teal and Sandra Thomas; brother, Steven Hite; step-mother, Margaret Beck; step-son, Jamey Coffman; grandchildren, Derica Hite, Chanler Collins and Jedda Holiday; step-grandchildren, Treyton Coffman and Barrett Coffman; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Hite will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Jarrod Roberts officiating. Burial will be Friday, August 14, 2015 at 3 :00 P.M. in the Family plot at Fairview Cemetery in Stockbridge, Georgia. Mr. Hite will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1 P.M. until the funeral hour.
