Rebecca Gail Smith

Rebecca Gail Smith, age 58 of Unity Church Road, Summerville, GA  passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.  Ms. Smith was born January 2, 1953 in Chamblee, GA.  She was employed with Cobb Family Resources. Ms. Smith was preceded in death by father, Henry Mize; brothers, Russell Mize and Sam Mize; and sister, Anita Mize. Ms. Smith is survived by daughter, Alyssa Darlene Chastain of Guntersville, AL; former husband, Gary Smith of West Columbia, TX; grandson, William Allen Slate II of Guntersville, AL and granddaughter, Taylor Nicole Chastain of St. Augustine, FL; and mother, Betty Parmer Hunt Singer of Decatur, GA. There will be no services. Ms. Smith will be cremated.
