Mr. Robert Franklin Stewart, Iii

Mr. Robert Franklin Stewart, III age 71 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Life Care Center in Red Bank, TN. Mr. Stewart was born in Summerville, Georgia on May 31, 1943, son of the late Robert "Bud" Stewart, Jr. and Mary Evelyn Dalton Stewart Mitchell. He was a member of the North Summerville Baptist Church and prior to retirement was self employed as a brick mason and was a gardener, winning many awards for his prized roses. Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Morgan Stewart on September 25, 2004. Mr. Stewart is survived by his daughters, Dena Doig and Donna Santifort of North Carolina; step children, Kim Bryson of Lafayette, Elizabeth Faye of Illinois, Kenneth Brownlee of Summerville and Howard McMillin, Jr of Illinois.; brothers, Donald and David Stewart of Rome; sisters, Shirley Ducker of Signal Mountain, Rita Tindall of Coldwater Mississippi, and Sheryl Treadway of Rome, GA; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Stewart will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Carver officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donald Stewart, David Stewart, Race Allen, Will Allen, Wes Allen, Frankie Abernathy and Mark Ducker. Mr. Stewart will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
