Rochelle Choate

Mrs. Glenda Rochelle Choate, age 61 of Trion, Georgia passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at her residence.

Rochelle was born in Trion, Georgia on March 22, 1965, daughter of the late James Larry Choate and Mildred Virginia Rogers Choate. She had attended the East Trion Church of God and was a retired Cosmetologist and Hair Dresser. She loved to make Rag Dolls, paint and loved looking after her plants; and was an avid animal lover.

In addition to her parents, Rochelle was preceded in death by a daughter, Dusty Bartlett; son, Joel Brumlow, II; brother, Curtis Choate and her friend and former husband, Joel Brumlow.

Rochelle is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Clory and Arley Beene and Mary and Marti Abernathy; brother, Montag Choate; grandchildren, Haven Bartlett, Kennedy Smith, Levi Brumlow, Jannsen Brock, Braxton Brock, Bella Brock, Kavin Duke, Presley Abernathy, Hope Teague, Greyson Parker and Brison Moon; great grandchildren, Fraya Hernandez and E.J. Hernandez; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Rochelle’s wishes, she will be cremated and the family will have a celebration of her life at later date.
