Mr. Rodney Lamar Rosser, age 46 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness.
Rodney was born in Rome, Georgia on June 7, 1978, son of Janet Reed Orr. He was employed with the Roper Corporation, where he was a hyster driver. Rodney was an avid music lover and loved Reese’s Candies and Little Debbie Cakes. He enjoyed eating out, playing Mortal Kombat, tinkering with cars, electronics and anything with buttons, but his favorite activity was spending time with his family, his girls, and his grandchildren. Rodney was preceded in death by a grandson, Colter; step-dad, Larry Orr; and his grandparents, Bobby and Barbara Blalock.
Rodney is survived by his girls, Ashley(Jared) Campbell, Chasiti Rosser, Chloe Rosser, Kenzie Rosser and Maddi Rosser; honorary children, Fantasy Alley, Jon Alley, Emma Alley and Eddie Ally; mother, Janet Orr(Dewayne Thompson); girlfriend, Keri Alley; sister, Lisa Richardson(Anthony Black), grandchildren, Bricelyn Campbell, Lincoln Campbell, Asher Skinner, Blaine Alley, Mannon Dupree, Destry Heard, Olivia Shropshire and Oliver Alley; and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral Services for Rodney will be held Monday, January 20, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Bullard officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his children, Ashley, Chasiti, Chloe ,Kenzie, Maddi, Fantasy, Jon, Emma and Eddie.
Rodney’s family will receive friends at the Coffman Funeral Home on Monday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
