Mrs. Ruth Milner Housch

Mrs. Ruth Milner Housch, age 98 of Oneonta, Alabama, formerly of Summerville, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Mrs. Housch was born in Zebulon, Georgia on May 27, 1918, daughter of the late John H. and Bessie Cannafax Milner. She was a graduate of the Gordon Military College, and was married in1941. Mrs. Housch was a devoted homemaker and most beloved Mother, and resided in Georgia until 1999, when she moved to Alabama to be closer to her children. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Housch, was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Andrew Jackson Housch, Sr. in 1982 and eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Housch is survived by two children, a son, Jack Housch and his wife, Diane of Oneata, AL, and a daughter, Helen Housch of Huntsville, AL; 4 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside and Interment services for Mrs. Housch will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Pennville Cemetery with Rev. David Autry officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot. Mrs. Housch will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour.
