Sadie Mae Ray

Sadie Mae Ray, age 93 of Cemetery Road, Lyerly, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 in Oakview Nursing Home. She was born September 3, 1918 in Cherokee Co., AL, daughter of the late John & Dorothy Mae Townsend Ray. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Belmont Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband,  Eugene Ray; 2 brothers, Cecil Ray & Gurdine Ray. Survivors include a nephew, Rickey Lee Ray, Conyers, Ga., several counsins. Funeral & interment service will be conducted at the Oakhill Cemetery, Lyerly, Ga. at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. There will be no visitation. Family will meet at Oakhill Cemetery, Lyerly, Ga. at 2:00 p.m. Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements for Sadie Mae Ray who passed away on Saturday.
