Mrs. Sandra Lee "Sandy" Phillips

Mrs. Sandra Lee “Sandy” Phillips, age 60 of Trion, Georgia passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 19, 2022 in a Rome Hospital.

Sandy was born in Lafayette, Georgia on January 10, 1962, daughter of the late Gershon Kilgore and Wanza Braddy Kilgore.  She enjoyed coloring and painting, watching hummingbirds and dragonflies, and exploring the woods while living the Lake Life.  In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff Kilgore and Tony Kilgore.

Sandy is survived by a son, Josh Brown; daughter, Amanda Mitchell; Sisters and brother-in-law, Debbie Willingham and Patti and Johnny Elkins; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a niece, Jill(Johnny) Caylor; and nephews, Mark and Vickie Willingham, Riley and Destiny Willingham, Jason and Cassie Brown and Nathan and Blakley Brown.

Memorial Services for Sandy will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. David Pettyjohn officiating.  The family will have a private committal service at the lake at later date.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
