Mrs. Shirley Ann Biggs

Mrs. Shirley Ann Biggs, age 74, of Union Street in Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Biggs was born in Grayson, Georgia on June 24, 1940, daughter of the late James William Plunkett and Flora Bell Bedingfield Plunkett. She was of the Baptist Faith and prior to retirement was employed as a property manager. Mrs. Biggs is survived by her sons and a daughter-in-law, Lloyd Wayne Cooper of Gainesville, GA and Charles Milton Biggs and his wife, Tina Biggs of Griffin, Georgia; brothers, James Allen Plunkett, and George William Plunkett of Henry County, Georgia; sisters, Bonnie Sue Woodfin of Summerville, GA, Margaret Dwayne DeAngelo and Deborah Gail Cater, both of Henry County, GA; and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The immediate family had a small gathering for the family Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Coffman Funeral Home. Following the gathering, Mrs. Biggs will be cremated according to her wishes, and the family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
