Steven Daryl Cherry

Mr. Steven Daryl Cherry, age 53 of Summerville, Georgia passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2026 at his residence.

Steven was born in Blair, Pennsylvania on January 16, 1973, son of the late Ernest Clyde Cherry and Phyllis Larue Weise Cherry. He Steve loved to watch Free Chapel on-line, enjoyed hiking, traveling and fishing, but his favorite activity was spending time with his family, especially his children and his dogs, Jelly and Casper.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his step-mother, Bernita Cherry; sister, Cynthia Solberg and a brother, Gary D. Cherry.

Steven is survived by his wife, Victoria Cherry; his children, Jacob Cherry, Ellijah Cherry and Steven D. Cherry, Jr.; step-children, Ivy Rowell and Miracle Rowell; children by choice, Heather Scarborough and Johnathan Graef; sister, Lavonne Cherry; brothers, Donald Cherry, Dennis Cherry, Mark Cherry and Jason Cherry.

He was a sweet and kind-hearted man who cared about people. He will be missed dearly.

A Celebration of Life for Steven will be held Saturday MAY 16, 2026 at 12:00 Noon in the chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Collins officiating.

Steven’s family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour.
