Mrs. Sylvia Brandon Blansit

Mrs. Sylvia Brandon Blansit, age 69, of Summerville, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Blansit was born in Winchester, Tennessee on October 17, 1946, only daughter of Rev. Douglas Brandon and Lucille Denton Brandon. She was a member of the Berryton Baptist Church, where she was the Christmas Play Director for many years. She retired as a machine operator from the American Rug Mill. IN addition to her parents, Mrs. Blansit was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Skinner. Mrs. Blansit is survived by her husband, Waymon Blansit; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Kathy Blansit; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Kyle Price; son-in-law, Brad Skinner; and her grandchildren, Tailor Barrett, Tristan and Kayla Price, Terran Skinner, Brandon Skinner and Jana Price. Funeral Services for Mrs. Blansit will be held Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the Berryton Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Skates and Rev. Kevin Norton officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tristan Price, Josh Bryan, Brandon Skinner, Chad Barnes, Ronnie Croy, Brandon Croy, Jonathan Roberts, Josh Bennett and Brad Skinner. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Ladies Sunday School Class of Berryton Baptist Church.
