Tenia Ann (Tidmore) Gray

Mrs. Tenia Ann Gray, age 63 of Lyerly, Georgia passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 at a Rome hospital.

Tenia was born in Summerville, Georgia on July 7, 1960, daughter of Emma Ruby Yarbrough Tidmore and the late J.B. Tidmore.  She was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a homemaker.  Tenia never met a stranger. She enjoyed camping, being outdoors, wearing her flip-flops, no matter what time of year it was, loved Christmas time and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  In addition to her father, Tenia was preceded in death by a brother, Earl “Red” Tidmore.

Tenia is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Laura and James Lands; sons and daughter-in-law, Marshall Gray and Steven and Amy Gray; mother, Ruby Tidmore; sister and brother-in-law, Ulean and James Dupree; brothers and sisters-in-law, Matt Tidmore, Edward and Donna Tidmore and Wayne and Sonya Tidmore; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Tenia will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Boyd and Rev. Steve Collins officiating.  Interment will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Steven Gray, Marshall Gray, Zackery Hulse, Brandon Tarven, James Lands and Tufton Blanks.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Portwood, Chad Tidmore and Dallas Gilreath.

Tenia will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
