Theodore "Ted" Alan Dietz

Mr. Theodore Alan “Ted” Dietz, age 54 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, May 22, 2026 in a Rome hospital.

Ted was born in West Alice, Wisconsin on February 28, 1972, son of Sandra Kay Dietz and the late Leo Theodore Dietz. He was employed as a truck driver with R&B Trucking. Ted enjoyed being outdoors. In his younger years, he loved riding dirt bikes and snowmobiles, and never missed an opportunity to take his motorcycle for a spin.

Ted is survived by a daughter, Sabrina Lurvey; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles Dietz and Cole and Rikki Dietz; and grandchildren, Mason Lurvey, Kinslee Lurvey, Vivian Lurvey, Serenity Deitz, Anastasia Dietz and Exavier Dietz.

In accordance with Ted’s wishes, he will be cremated and the family may hold a memorial service at a later date.
