Mr. Thomas "Butch" Harold Westbrook

Mr. Thomas Harold "Butch" Westbrook, age 48 of Lyerly, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center. Butch was born in Trion, Georgia on July 4, 1969, son of the late Thomas Glenn Westbrook and Mildred Lee Landers Westbrook. He was a member of the Remnant Church and worked with the Lookout Mountain Community work programs. He loved to sing and was an avid Elvis fan. In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by a sister, Lilly Ruth "Dinky" Warren, an Aunt, Louise Stewart and brothers-in-law, James Warren and James Taylor. Butch is survived by his sister and caregiver, Melody "Chris" Taylor; brother and sister-in-law, David and Cindy Westbrooks; special niece and caregiver, Jennifer Slater and a host of additional nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Funeral Services for Butch will be held Friday, November 24, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. David Vanhorn officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Westbrooks, Kevin Rinehart, Eric Slater, Andrew Parker, Ryan Driver and Jake Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jamie McLain and Joe Robinson. Butch will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
