Mr. Thomas Woodrow Kilgore, Jr.

Thomas Woodrow Kilgore, Jr. age 77 of Trion, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Kilgore was born in Kingston, Georgia on April 22, 1944, son of the late Thomas Woodrow Kilgore, Sr. and Nellie Bell Hunter Kilgore.  He was a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church, the Quarter Century Club, and was retired from the preparation department of Mt. Vernon Mills.  He enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, gardening and listening to country gospel and blue grass music.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Kilgore was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Eller, and brothers, Jesse Franklin Kilgore, Bobby Kilgore and Danny Kilgore.

Mr. Kilgore is survived by a brother, C.L. Kilgore; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Kilgore, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Private Funeral Services for Mr. Kilgore will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021. Interment will be in the Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jackson Harwell, Paul Gamble, David E. Eller, David G. Eller, Mark Harwell and C.L. Kilgore.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Preston Gamble, Thomas Ray Eller and Marlin Eller.
