Mr. Tony Marlin Saylor

Mr. Tony Marlin Saylor, age 62 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Floyd Medical Center.

Tony was born in Summerville, Georgia on May 3, 1959, son of the late Kenneth Bentley and Dorothy Louise “Dot” Saylor Bentley.  He attended the Spring Creek Baptist Church and was employed with the Roper Corporation.  Tony loved animals, especially dogs, enjoyed going to yard sales, working with computers and networking.  In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Beverly Saylor; “Mother”, Rose Trammell; and “Brothers”, Allen Trammell and Don Trammell.

Tony is survived by his sons, Trey Saylor and his fiancé, Kiera Hamby, Cody Saylor and his wife, Eunice Louise Saylor and Jason Saylor; Special Friend, Michael Pettyjohn; “Siblings”, Pam McGraw, Lanell Ponder, Greg Trammell, Nick Trammell and Karen Bridges; grandchildren, Ariel Sisson, Addie Saylor, Ethan Saylor, Haley Saylor, Isaac Reynolds, Travis Goins, Courtney Saylor, Bryson Hunt, Brylea Hunt and Breanna Hunt and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Tony will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Flener officiating.  Interment will be in the Summerville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Hamby, Steven Hamby, Josh McGraw, T.J. Rutledge, Greg Trammell and Bryson Peterson.

Tony will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 4:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
