Mr. Troy Lee Wilkey

Mr. Troy Lee Wilkey, age 73 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Wilkey was born in Trion, Georgia on February 2, 1943, son of the late Herman Wilkey and Lola Wilkey. Mr. Wilkey retired from the Chattooga County School System where he was a bus driver, but he was also a Jack of All Trades, doing everything from mechanic work to carpentry and plumbing. He loved to fish and would trade on just about anything. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilkey was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Kendrick, and brothers, Franklin Wilkey and Donald Wilkey. Mr. Wilkey is survived by his daughters, Brandie Wilkey, Shannon Wilkey and Ann Ivey; grandchildren, Cole Ivey, Olivia McArthur, Trever McArthur and Jamysin Larmon; and a number of nieces and nephews. In accordance with Mr. Wilkey's wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service may be held at a later date.
