Vera J. Reynolds

Mrs. Vera Johnson Reynolds, age 78 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025 in a Rome Hospital.

Mrs. Reynolds was born in Summerville, Georgia on April 3, 1947, daughter of the late Joshua Grady Johnson and Harriett Belle Hines Johnson. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed feeding and caring for her cats and all wildlife around her home. She was retired from the Coosa Bakery and had been employed in food service for many years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Reynolds, Sr.; sisters, Ann, Joyce and Geneva and brothers, JW, Gene, Leroy and Jimmy.

Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her daughter, Tracy Brown; son-in-law, Jeff Whitfield; sister, Teresa Johnson; step-grandchildren, Sabrina Whitfield, Arianna Whitfield and Jacob Whitfield; a great granddaughter, Beatrix Whitfield; special friends,  Angel Roberts and Dee Abney (her vegetable queen) and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
