Mrs. Vickie Darlene Thomas

Mrs. Vickie Darlene Thomas, age 68 of Trion, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at her residence.

Vickie was born in Lafayette, Georgia on January 25, 1953, daughter of the late Roland Lee Wooten and Nellie Fay Barfield Wooten.  She loved being around people, loved to travel and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She was retired from Shaw Industries.  In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Lee Wooten.

Vickie is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Marculous Mosteller; son and daughter-in-law, Kerry and Elizabeth Thomas; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Jerry Corbin; grandchildren, Dallas (Laurel) Thomas, Ethan Gordon, Noah Thomas, Kierstin Thomas and Nikki White; great grandchildren, Ryder Thomas and Kyleigh Housch; special great niece, Mollie Corbin; special friend, Lori Howell; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside and Interment Services for Vickie will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. in the West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Casey Bramlett officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Ledford, Cole Thomas, Rusty Dooley, Rodney Wooten, Daniel Stansell and Scott Clements.

Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet at West Hill Cemetery at 2:45 P.M. Thursday.

There will be no formal visitation.
