Victor Ray Himes

Mr. Victor Ray Himes, age 55 of Centre, AL passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at his sister's home after a battle with cancer..  Mr. Himes was born September 26, 1957 in Connersville, Indiana.  He was employed with John Davis Machinery Erectors and was Baptist by faith. Mr. Himes was preceded in  death by grandfather and grandmother, Carl and Thelma Himes of Summerville, GA. Mr. Himes is survived by son, Kyle Ray Himes, Santa Rosa County, FL; parents, James and Joyce Himes of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters, Betty Himes of Centre, AL and Donna Bosserman of Fishersville, VA; brothers, James (Suzette) Himes, Jr. of Shady Valley, TN; stepbrothers, John Paul (Denise) Ramey of Box Springs, GA, Butch (Sharon) Ramey of Ruskin, FL; stepsister, Faye (Tim) Marton of Centre, AL; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 20, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. CST at the Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Pollard officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Victor Ray Himes will be Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church where the family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. CST. Pallbearers will be Charles Himes, Chris Himes, Bobby Himes, Andy Himes, Butch Ramey, and Tim Marton.
