Virginia Jo Brazelle

Virginia Jo Styles Brazelle, age 78 passed from her earthly home into the Kingdom of Heaven September 27, 2011.  Virginia was born in Trion, GA on December 2, 1932 to Sherman and Martha Styles.  She was the baby of their twelve children.  She has now gone on to be reunited with the others, as well as her husband of 32 years, Vincent Thomas Brazelle. Virginia is survived by her two sons, Vincent Thomas Brazelle, Jr. and Patrick Robert Brazelle and Patrick's wife, Susan Head Brazelle.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Virginia grew up in the Trion and Dalton areas.  At the age of 23 she moved to Washington, D.C. where she met her future husband and married.  They resided in the area while raising their family.  Following Vincent's death Virginia chose to return to her native Georgia living in Ft. Oglethorpe. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery. Virginia will lie-in-state on Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   Pallbearers will be Patrick Brazelle, Vincent, Brazelle, Tom Pledger, and Timothy Jones. The Brazelle family wishes to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for all the loving care given to our mother during her illness.  Most specifically we want to mention Brianna, Faedra, Casey, Melissa, and Connie.  You are angels on earth.  We also wish to thank Morning Pointe of Hixson and NHC of Dunlap for the wonderful care and kindness shown all of us during Virginia's time with them.
