Mrs. Wanda Ann Greene

Mrs. Wanda Ann Greene, age 43 of Lafayette, Georgia passed away suddenly November 30, 2020.

Mrs. Greene was born in Lafayette, Georgia on February 8, 1977, daughter of Hazel Louise Sills McWhorter and the late Horace Junior McWhorter.  She loved to sing and had been employed with Home Nursing, Inc.  In addition to her father, Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mariah Journey Womack-Laney.

Mrs. Greene is survived by her husband, Chris Greene; daughter, Megan Nicole McWhorter Robbins and her husband, Ronald; sons, Coty Williamson and Wade Laney; mother and stepfather, Hazel McWhorter and Marty Lowrance; grandmother, Louise Crowder; sisters, Loretta Hensley, Joann McWhorter, Darlene VanZant and Tammy McWhorter; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Stacy McWhorter; grandchildren, Bailey Robbins, Savannah Robbins, Ayden Robbins and Madison Laney; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Greene will be held Monday, December 7, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating.  Interment will be in the West Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Buster Spivey, Kevin Rollins, Ronald Robbins, Wayne Rogers, Dusty Trammell, and Harold Cochran.

Mrs. Greene will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 until the funeral hour.

The family of Mrs. Greene, as well as the staff of Coffman Funeral Home, advise anyone that plans to attend the services, to please follow the CDC recommendations as it pertains to Social distancing and social gatherings. Facemasks are not required, but are recommended.
