Mrs. Wanda Joyce (Hurley) Russell

Mrs. Wanda Joyce Russell, age 69 of Summerville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 25, 2023 at a Rome Hospital.

Mrs. Russell was born in Rome, Georgia on August 3, 1953, daughter of the late James Hurley and Corine Dobson Hurley.  She was a retired textile worker.  She enjoyed making crafts and crocheting.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by a son, Rickey Russell; sisters, Patricia LeCroy and Brenda Scott; and brothers, Don Dobson and William Dobson.

Mrs. Russell is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Russell; sisters, Caroline Hurley and Shirley Carpenter; grandson, Terel Russell; and a number of nieces and nephews.

According to the wishes of Mrs. Russell, she will be cremated and there are no services scheduled at this time.
